Gentle yoga based on the healing properties and traits of medicinal herbs. Yin yoga is a slow practice aimed at contemplation and relaxation; gentle poses are held for longer durations. February focus is on Hawthorne berry (Crataegus spp). Brandy is especially knowledgeable about Appalachian medicinals and she incorporates this knowledge into her movement practice. This class is most suitable for beginners, for those wanting a restorative practice, and for nature lovers.
