Plant Yoga - Violet
PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE to the 5th Sunday
Tennessee Williams said, "The violets in the mountains have broken the rocks." And herbalists agree that violets soften hard edges; they are an important component of traditional spring tonics as well as a powerful ally for overcoming trauma. March's plant yoga class is focused on this amazing, prolific native plant: Violets (Viola spp; V. sororia is our most common species in the NRV). Come join us for gentle yin yoga, tea, and guided meditation aimed to deepen our connection with nature. Donations class.

Imbolc Celebration
A sacred spiral has been used to conceptualize our journey through life by many cultures. Imbolc marks the first point on the spiral for the year ahead, and is the season between the dark of the winter solstice & the awakening of the vernal equinox. The goddess/saint Brigid is celebrated during this time; she is the personification of the flame of inspiration. She is poet, smithy, and healer and therefore sacred to those who practice those arts. Come join us for a time of quiet contemplation as we journal and pull cards, reflecting on the spiral metaphor and Brigid's gifts. If you have anything you feel called to share, feel free to bring it.
